Dr Peter Gooden

Having completed a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Nottingham in 2006, I went on to work as Technical Manager at Promethean Particles, a nanotechnology spin-out company from the University of Nottingham. Following almost 10 years in industry I joined the University of Hertfordshire in 2018 as Head of Knowledge Exchange and currently hold the position of Head of Innovation. In this position I am responsible for developing commercial income and research impact for UH through fostering collaborative projects between industry and the University’s researchers. I am also responsible for managing the University’s portfolio of IP.

I have followed and supported ImmuONE’s development from UH research, through their iCURe and spinout journey, and I was delighted to have the opportunity to join ImmuONE in 2020 as a director. Since then I have been supporting the company’s growth and future planning. It is hugely exciting to be able to join the highly motivated founders and team at ImmuONE and contribute my experience in the commercial environment and my knowledge of the small company journey.

Outside of work I have two young daughters and am a keen sportsman! I enjoy cycling and I play cricket, rugby and football during their respective seasons.
